Sharing with a tenant

If your tenant has accepted an invitation to Tendmere, they can see their tenancy documents in their tenant portal. You can also download a document or report and send it using your device's share options or your own email.

Sharing with your accountant

You can create a link that lets your accountant view a tax year's records without signing in. The link expires after 7 days.

What to share

Documents you commonly need to give tenants in England include the gas safety record, the EPC, the electrical safety report and the deposit prescribed information. For new tenancies from 1 May 2026 you also need to give a written statement of terms.

Keep your own proof

Tendmere does not create per-document links with a choice of expiry, and it does not record when a tenant opens a document. Keep your own record of how and when you gave each document, such as a sent email or a signed receipt.
