Getting Started
Importing existing data from spreadsheets
Upload a supported CSV or Excel file, review suggested column mappings, and preview rows before import.
Prepare your file
Tendmere accepts supported .csv and .xlsx files. Include clear columns for the records you want to import. Tendmere can suggest column mappings, but you must review the mapping and preview rows before confirming anything.
Upload and map
Go to Settings → Import data and upload your file. Tendmere scans your columns and suggests mappings (e.g. "Monthly Rent" → Rent amount). Review the suggestions and adjust any that look wrong.
Review and confirm
Preview the imported records before confirming. Tendmere highlights any rows with missing required fields (like address or rent amount) so you can fix them before import.
What gets imported?
Properties, tenants, rent amounts, tenancy dates, compliance dates, and expenses. Historical rent payments can also be imported if your spreadsheet includes payment dates and amounts.
