Tax & MTD
Preparing quarterly MTD records
Review digital records and prepare a quarterly handoff while production filing remains disabled.
When to submit
Quarterly updates are due by the 5th of the month following the quarter end. For example, the April–June quarter is due by 5 August. Tendmere reminds you 2 weeks and 1 week before each deadline.
Review your figures
Go to Finances → Tax → Quarterly update. Tendmere shows a summary of income and expenses for the quarter, broken down by property. Check for any missing rent payments or uncategorised expenses.
Export or hand off
Once the figures are reviewed, use the available export or accountant handoff. Production submission to HMRC is not enabled, and Tendmere will not show a filing confirmation for a review-only pack.
Corrections
If a late item changes the figures, update the record and regenerate the review pack. Follow HMRC or your accountant's process for any actual amendment.
